We had a small support group 2016-2017, but need more leaders to step forward to continue this program and hopefully expand it. We would like to have one Friday mornings for families with young children (up to about grade 2), and another in the afternoon for upper elementary/middle school age kids. Hopeful plans include one park day a month, one field trip a month, and two Fridays making use of the facilities for co-op style activities. Occasional mom’s night out activities if desired. If interested, contact Mary Hood to stay in the loop as plans are made. Email her at [email protected]. Let her know if you are interested in taking a leadership role. At least 2-3 committed leaders per group will be necessary to make this happen.
